Friday Photo: Swedish Summer
A year ago today I was busy galavanting around the Scandinavian homeland… unfortunately this summer has no Sweden trips in store, so looking back at photos will have to do. This one was taken in Ronneby, a small village in the Blekinge region. Now all I need is a plate of pickled herring, potatoes with dill and a glass of wine bought at Systembolaget and everything will be complete.

Hi Anna, I am Herbert (hubbie) from Vienna, Austria, f.e. student to Medford, ORE. back in 68/69. I found you on the new site tripwolf and was curiuos about your homeland experiences as I will travel southern Sweden two weeks from now. Did you really try the surströmming and would you share some absolute insider tips (neat places to stay, restaurants) with me?
