Love this concept fresh out of San Francisco, which I came across while writing this week’s Foodie Underground. It’s called Fat Cookies and they’re serving fresh baked goods straight out of their second story window with the good ole bag and string combo.

Friday Photo: Botanical Forms
During a recent trip to the Bay Area, I spent a beautiful afternoon in the San Francisco Botanical Gardens. I love this space smack dab in the middle of Golden Gate Park, with so many intricate natural forms and lines to be found. The swirl on this plant stuck out in the afternoon sunlight.

Being in the Bay Area two weekends ago reminded me how much I love San Francisco; most likely because it’s a big, almost European-esque, metropolis that still manages to keep the West Coast vibe. Snapped this shot from Russian Hill Park where there was a great view over the city and out over the bay.
