A Taste of Santa Fe

Two days, three tacos, two enchiladas, five mentions of frito pies, four milagros, numerous iced coffees: Santa Fe.
Red adobe buildings, striking against the blue sky. Bright flowers paired with dusty streets. Tacos covered with pumpkin seed pesto. An eclectic mix of new and old. Colors everywhere: red ristras hanging on balconies, stacks of turquoise and yellow striped blankets, a bright blue canopy to provide shade in the heat of the day. An ongoing visual flurry, all under the Southwest sun.
Planning and Scheming
For a couple of weeks in this:
All thanks to Red Reel who’s busy planning Month of Colorado.
So the countdown begins for a full month of working and meeting up with a lot of good people in one of my favorite states; Boulder is pretty much another version of Portland I’ve been told.
And that means looking forward to some good photos, afternoons spent drawing in the journal, early morning trail runs and being constantly inspired. It doesn’t get much better.

Bike Graffiti
A cold winter day. An escape to a bigger city. A friendly reminder of what transportation I should have taken, or wished I could have taken.
I start to dream. Of adventures and excursions one could take on two wheels. The places that could be explored. The miles that could be covered.
The ferry bell rings. Passengers scurry back to their cars. If only we were all on bikes.
Paris, tu me manques.
Oh how this makes we want to hop on a plane and do a study abroad program all over again.

180° South Soundtrack: Music for Motivation
Saw 180° South again a couple of weekends ago at Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival in Nevada City, California.
Inspiring. Thought-provoking. Moving. Adventurous. Simple.
