I refuse to make kanelbullar without pärlsocker. The distinct taste of cardamom paired with the sweet addition of hard bits of sugar is what makes a Swedish cinnamon roll a Swedish cinnamon roll. You can’t have one without the other.

Quinoa spring rolls = amazing. Quinoa, carrots and other deliciousness wrapped in rice paper and sprinkled with brewer’s yeast and pumpkin seeds. Completed with ginger infused soy sauce.

In need of some color today, so went back to some Mexico photos from this fall. I visited right before Dia de los Muertos, and everywhere you looked there were decorations. These flags covered an entire alley, fluttering in the wind against a bright blue sky.
