Friday Photo: The Thanskgiving Plate
I can’t believe I haven’t updated since last Friday… I’ll make up for it next week. But here’s my favorite photo from last night’s wonderful dinner at my parents’ house. Hope everyone else had a lot of good things to eat, drink and be thankful for.

Friday Photo: Keeping the Dark Hours Light
December is around the corner, which means time for Swedish celebration of advent and lots of candles to keep the dark hours well lit. In this photo, I love the shadow that is created around the base of the candle, making it look almost like the sun spitting off luminous rays.

I love this photo taken at one of the falls not far from Saint Mary Lake in Glacier National Park last weekend. An excellent trip, especially since most of the park attractions were shut down for the season and we practically had the park to ourselves. Definitely a great time of year to go visit.

So sometimes, this is what my job looks like. We were in a small ghost town in southern Oregon to do a photo shoot, and what you can’t get from this picture is the great Cuban music that was blaring from the speakers. A classic moment.

I took this shot last weekend while working on the Wend photo shoot (that’s why today’s FP over at Wend is oh so similar…). The picture is of the North Umpqua River, with some gorgeous fall leaves in the foreground.

Friday Photo: On the hills of San Francisco
Being in the Bay Area two weekends ago reminded me how much I love San Francisco; most likely because it’s a big, almost European-esque, metropolis that still manages to keep the West Coast vibe. Snapped this shot from Russian Hill Park where there was a great view over the city and out over the bay.
