Trekked up to Twin Lakes last weekend. An excellent loop that on a nice day features gorgeous views of Mt. Hood. But of course, the Northwest being the Northwest, the day was cloudy and cold.

Packed in a picnic of peppermint schnapps spiked hot chocolate, brie cheese, salami and apples, which I’ve decided should be the new go-to winter spread.
